The Pasco County Library System Summer Reading Program is starting soon!

Imagine, getting prizes and going to cool events, just for reading a few books. Yes - it's true!

Here's how the program works:

Registration begins on May 26th. To register, fill out a free reading club contract at any library branch or online at www.pascolibraries.org. You will receive a prize just for registering! Awesome...

Then you can begin reporting on your books on June 6th. Books are reported and tracked using the account created on the library's website. You only need to read six books by July 25th (now we know you can do that.) Readers will receive a prize for each book read, a prize for completing your commitment, AND an entry into our random drawing for fabulous prizes like an iPod, manga collections and more.

This year the Summer Reading Program theme is "Express Yourself" and all of our programs will have a theme of creativity and self-expression. The Land O' Lakes Library will have different programs each week for Teens ages 12-18. If you have a younger brother or sister, we will have events just for Tweens ages 9-12, too. They'll be on Wednesdays at 2pm.
